Jenny + Jason’s Ouray winter wedding
This Ouray Colorado winter elopement took place in the month of February. Jenny and Jason had immediate family only for their wedding celebration. The mountains of Ouray, Colorado were also very important to them! We were lucky with the amount of snow we had this winter.

Ouray Perimeter Trail in the snow
After photographing Jenny getting ready, then I left with Jason and his crew. It was a little over a mile hike to the ceremony site. We were lucky that there wasn’t a ton of snow for February. The Ouray perimeter trail was nice and packed down. We left plenty of time to allow for everyone to make it. For instance, we left a 20 minute buffer on top of the hike time.
Perimeter Trail Wedding Ceremony
The Perimeter trail in Ouray has many great views. Jenny and Jason decided on this location to say their vows. It was an emotional and heartfelt ceremony. After the ceremony, then we took photos among the Ouray mountains. Wearing boots was a necessity. It was important for them to capture a shot of everyone’s boots. And also the mountains.
Thank you so much for taking the time to check out this amazing Ouray Colorado winter elopement. A fun winter adventure, for certain.
