This Telluride Winter Wedding at Gorrono Ranch started at the Mountain Lodge where this beautiful couple was staying. Because they wanted to have their first look and family portraits done before their ceremony. This was two fold. After the ceremony, they simply wanted to enjoy their cocktail party with the friends and family. But also, they had a candle lit ceremony after sunset. By doing the portraits ahead of time, allowed them to have daylight for their portraits. This also allowed for them to play in the snow and have the warmth of the sun on them. As you will see, their ceremony was after sunset. This couple wouldn’t have lasted very long outside, at night in the middle of winter.
About Goronno Ranch
Gorrono Ranch is a truly unique mountain venue perched on the side of the San Juan mountain range. Named after the family that built the ranch, Gorrono was a Basque sheep herder’s farm in the 1800’s.
For a truly wonderful winter wedding, Gorrono Ranch can transform into a private mountain lodge exuding rustic elegance. Because of it’s large stone fireplaces crackling a warm welcome. Guests are transported up the mountain in a snowcat drawn sleigh. This ride is an epic one. Winding through spruce forest, with the majestic San Juan Mountains illuminated by a star-filled sky. And that is exactly what Dane and Andrea did this beautiful January night.
Dane and Andrea from Los Angeles, California wanted their Telluride Gorrono Ranch wedding to be an unforgettable getaway. From the sleigh ride up to Goronno and the 5 star service and staff. The day was perfect. In conclusion, this wedding was a night to remember.
