Ophir engagement session with Ellis & Cat

This Ophir engagement session with Ellis & Cat was so much fun. Documenting their love close to their home in Ophir was important to them. Their wedding was taking place out of state, so documenting this local couple in Colorado was a must. Just up from their home in Ophir, we played in their backyard. Having fun and trying a bunch of different things with my couples, helps take their mind off of having their photo taken. This allows their relationship to shine through in the photos and then allows them to relax. The “real” moments. By playing around, it keeps the session light hearted and fun. It’s the moments in between the moments…. now that’s where you find the gold.

After we played in the field, we headed to the mine near Ophir. Utilizing the natural surroundings around the mine, we captured some great shots.
