Telluride wedding and lifestyle photographer, Real Life Photographs, specializes in beautiful and meaningful, intimate weddings, elopements and capturing the special moments in life. Centered around love and family. Documenting the “real” moments of your life. From your wedding day, to your first born, family and every important mile marker along the way. Establishing a relationship with my clients is very important to me. Because how can I create beautiful artwork of you and your family, if I don’t know you? Creating an experience, based on you and the relationships of your loved ones is truly what makes my heart sing. I have the blessing of doing what I love for a living and after 16 years–I’m still In love with what I do.
My Goal
Learning what makes any relationship tick, is the journey for me. Because it’s different for everyone. That’s what keeps me coming back. I love learning to discover that with my camera and the relationships that I build. Capturing the beauty of Real Life, however you define that.
Who is Real Life Photographs
I’m Kaycee Joubert, owner and lead photographer, of Real Life Photographs. I graduated with my commercial photography degree, specializing in portraiture, from the Art Institute of Seattle. Real Life Photographs was born in 2006. From my first wedding in 2005, I was hooked. Literally. Sharing in the love, joy and happiness from my couples and their families is infectious. To be a part of that, to capture and document all of the little things. Those special moments in time. The ones you want to remember forever. The unexpected bliss that happens when you’re with your favorite people in the world. It truly is an honor to document and be a part of the experience. I love what I do. It’s hard to express the gratitude I feel on the daily to be able to capture and document someone’s special day or milestone in life.

A little more about me
Kaycee K Joubert
That is my given name. It comes from a tiny little town in Wyoming and my Auntie Mary gave me my middle name, a single letter. I’ve always loved the uniqueness of my name. I’m a taurus. A lover of love, exceptional coffee, travel, all different types of music, chocolate and caramel, trail running, the mountains, my furrrr-babies and my family- blood and chosen.
I’m genuine, self-professed and always looking on the bright side of life. I love to laugh and try not to take life too seriously. Family, love, experience and growth are top values for me. I’ve been told by my family that I wear my heart on my sleeve. And my best friends describe me as caring, determined and calm.
Developing a genuine and trusting relationship with my couples and clients is a top priority – because this trust will lead to gorgeous, lasting, heartfelt imagery and a life long friendship. I’m honored and grateful to call my clients my friends, and to be a part of their lives, as their family grows. Seriously, I love what I do.
