I love photographing local weddings. Brooke and Dave wed June 27, 2014 at San Sophia in Telluride, Colorado. Here’s a sneak peak of their wedding photographs.
Brooke grew up in Telluride and Dave proposed to her here on one of their favorite hike to ski runs- Mountain Quail. I had the pleasure of meeting up with Brooke and Dave last year at Cosmo where our friendship started over the love we had for our furry little, four legged friends. They told me of their baby, Ellie. A cute labradoodle that they take everywhere. Being a HUGE dog lover myself we spent most of the evening sharing stories and photographs of our furry little babes. We were friends immediately!
Their dog Ellie spent the entire day and evening with them. From the ceremony, to dinner to dancing into the night with them!

I love working with Wendy because everyone always has a great time, things always run on time, and she knows exactly when to pull the trigger to make the ceremony happen when those thunder heads start to build! Well done Wendy! By the time Brooke made it down the aisle the sprinkling of rain had stopped! Where only moments before it was hailing!!! This was such a gorgeous Telluride, Colorado Wedding! The reception was held at the Peaks Resort and Spa located in Mountain Village of Telluride, Colorado. Such a beautiful venue with gorgeous mountains all around. http://thepeaksresort.com
So Grammy Jan featured in the photograph above, the matriarch of Brooke’s family is such a special lady. Everyone was telling me what an amazing woman she is and how much fun she is… and she played along with my silly little one liners and lit up every photograph that she was in! Everyone loves Grammy Jan!

Grammy Jan came up to me ( little ol’ me…) at the end of the night and gave me a hug and a kiss and said, “thank you for doing such an amazing job today”. That was the cherry on top of the perfect day filled with so much love that I was smiling the whole way home! Thank you to Brooke and Dave, along with their families for the amazing honor of being a part of such a love filled day!
