Telluride Winter Wedding

Matt + Gely said their “I do’s” in the month of January of this year at nearly 11,000 feet! The wedding took place at the San Sophia Overlook in Telluride with the wedding reception held at Allred’s Restaurant overlooking the beautiful snowy town of Telluride, Colorado.

Getting Ready in Telluride, Colorado

Matt and Gely rented a beautiful condo in downtown Telluride. Knowing that they were going to have a lot of beautiful photo-ops up at San Sophia Overlook they wanted to take some photographs down in town, so they got ready and town and prepared for their first look before the ceremony. This allowed them to get a bunch of variety of photographs with daylight to be had!

The First Look

Having the opportunity to see each other before the ceremony allows you to have a moment with one another. Take in that special time together before you walk down the isle. This allows you to pick a location completely different than your ceremony site and ultimately will give you more variety in your photographs! Matt + Gely chose the town of Telluride for their first look. With their ceremony being at San Sophia Overlook they wanted to capture the charm of town along with the natural beauty.
